SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Code authorizes the Risk Management Specialist, with
the approval of the City Attorney, to bind insurance. City Council is then required to approve
continuation of the bound coverage. Insurance has been bound as follows:
1. Excess liability coverage with Lexington Insurance Company at an annual cost of $163,360
(including terrorism endorsement, tax and fee).
2. Crime insurance with Great American Insurance Group at an annual cost of $6,116.
ATTACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Adequate funds for these insurance renewals are
available in the Risk Management Fund.
