CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES
Wednesday, January 25, 2017
A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council
Conference Room of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6th Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 5:00 PM, with Council Vice-President Jerry
McDonald presiding. Council Members present were Richard Huddy, Dino Davis, Greg Wheeler,
Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Council President Eric Younger was absent. Christine Grenier,
Council Assistant, was present to provide staff support.
Vice-President McDonald emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there
would be no opportunities for input or participation; and announced that approved items by
Council will be placed on the February 1, 2017 Council Meeting Agenda or as indicated...

D. GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS
o Finance & Investment Committee Briefing (1/17/17 Meeting) — Chair Richard Huddy
o Other General Council Business was briefly discussed including the funding still needed
for maintenance on the USS Turner Joy and a status report on the Parking Advisory
Committee. And in response to recent national and local news on the subject, Police
Chief Steve Strachan established for the Council that Bremerton Police Officers do not
ask people about their immigration status.
With no further business, Vice-President McDonald adjourned the Council Study Session at
6:58 PM.
