SUMMARY: In order to enhance our purchasing abilities and use the most economical means
possible by utilizing a cooperative approach it is requested that the City Council agree to allow the
City of Bremerton to enter into an Interlocal Purchasing Agreement with Island County Fire District
1. This agreement, pursuant to RCW 39.34, will be used to purchase materials, services and
equipment from already approved competitive bids.
