SUMMARY: On August 1, 2005, the Kitsap Lake house became vacant. We are interested in
insuring that a City employee occupy the house to keep an eye on the adjoining park property.
Following the City's policy for the "Selection of Tenants - City Owned Residential Rental Property"
(Financial Policy 1-20-06), the Finance Department advertised the vacancy and accepted rental
applications from interested City employees. A Parks & Recreation employee had applied, but
withdrew his application. City employee, Peter Voight III, was drawn from the list of two City
employees who applied.
