SUMMARY: The City is seeking approval to extend the current Goods & Services Agreement with
Merchant Patrol Security Services, Inc. for security services and patrols for an additional two years
with all the current / existing pricing, conditions and specifications to remain the same. This is the
second and final contract extension for this required service.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Amendment No. 1 to extend contract #5206; and the Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Total annual cost of contract is $ 48,364.17 per
year. This amount is included in 2017 (and 2018 / 2019 preliminary) budgets.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Amendment No. 1 for a 2 -year extension of the Goods & Services Agreement with
Merchant Patrol Security Services, Inc. for security services and patrols; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
