SUMMARY: The fire department is proposing to purchase two (2) fire engines and (1) ladder truck
from Rosenbauer, LLC. A vehicle spec committee has evaluated a number of different manufacturers
and this is their recommendation. The cost for the (2) two engines is $1,105,622, $945,979 for the
ladder truck, for a total of $2,051,601 plus tax. The Fire Department is using the National Joint
Powers Alliance and the City's member number is 20107. Rosenbauer, LLC's contract number with
NJPA is 011714 -RSD.

Summary
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This is budgeted through the Public Safety Bond.
The cost for the (2) two engines is $1,105,622, $945,979 for the ladder truck, for a total of
$2,051,601 plus tax.
