SUMMARY: Pursuant to RCW 41.56, negotiations have concluded between representatives of the
City and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 437 resulting in the attached
Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Agreement has been ratified by the IAFF membership.
ATTACHMENTS: Collective Bargaining Agreement befinreen the City of Bremerton and the
International Association of Fire Fighters Local 437.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Fiscal impact of implementing this contract for 2016 is
estimated to be $141,931. A budget amendment to the Fire Department budget in the amount of
$141,931 will be required to fund the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement befinreen the City of Bremerton and the
International Association of Fire Fighters Local 437; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute
the agreement in substantially the same terms and conditions as presented; and make the necessary
budget amendment in the amount of$141,931 to the 2016 budget.
