SUMMARY: The utility vehicles in the Gold Mountain Golf Course equipment fleet have reached the
end of their useful life and require replacement. Quotes were received from three vendors on four
makes of utility vehicles. Staff recommends the John Deere Gator TX due to its larger box size and
payload and performance when compared to the other vehicles. Pricing for the four utility vehicles is
from the Washington State Bid List in the amount of$35,791.32, plus WSST.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds are identified in the approved Capital
Improvement Plan for 2016 and are budgeted in the 2016 Golf Capital Expense Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the purchase of four(4) John Deere Gator TX utility vehicles from Pacific Golf 8
Turf in the amount of$35,791.32, plus Washington State Sales Tax; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
