SUMMARY: The City anticipates approximately $605,000 in revenue which will be available for
distribution in Fiscal Year 2017.
The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) received thirteen (13) requests for funding.
Committee members reached consensus and are recommending funding to all of the applicants
and to continue the City of Bremerton's commitment to the Kitsap Conference Center.
Recommended allocations include $224,200 for the applicants and $155,000 for the Kitsap
Conference Center.
The City of Bremerton also has a 50 year commitment ending in 2040 with the Admiral Theatre
Foundation for$90,000 per year plus an additional $60,000 per year through 2017 for a total
allocation of$150,000.
It is also recommended that$75,800 (unallocated by the committee)will be carried over as part of
the beginning fund balance for Fiscal Year 2017.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): RCW 67.28 specifies that a municipality may either
accept or reject the committee's recommendations. If any individual recommendation is rejected by
City Council, then the unallocated amount will be held in the fund's reserve and that unfunded
organization will have significantly reduced marketing efforts for Bremerton.
