Professional Services Agreement with COUNCIL MEETING Date: July 20, 2016

SUMMARY: The City has been in a 5 year contract with Imperial Parking (Impark)to lease
electronic pay stations at City owned garages and lots; administer the City's Residential Parking
Program; and to provide parking enforcement services. The City now owns the electronic pay-
stations. During the 5 year term, revenues in all garages and lots have increased steadily year over
year under Impark's management. An amendment is proposed to extend the contract 3 years with
increased enforcement. Administration recommends approving the amendment.
ATTACHMENTS: Staff Memo, Proposed Amendment, Current Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $318,560.00 has been budgeted in 2016 for parking
enforcement services. The amendment is within the budgeted amount.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Imperial Parking;

and conditions as presented.
