SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton has submitted a draft grant application to the Washington State
Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB)to complete a design for the replacement of a culvert on
Parish Creek at the West Belfair Valley Rd. The Recreation and Conservation Office that oversees
the SRFB requires a resolution to authorize the City of Bremerton Mayor to make formal application
to the SRFB. Final application is due in August along with the approved Authorization Resolution.
The text of this Resolution was provided by the Washington State Recreation and Conservation
Office; per that Office, only limited alterations to the text were allowable and made to fit the City's
format.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This action altows the City to make formal
application for a $151,245 SRFB grant.
