SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton has submitted a draft grant application to the Washington State
Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB)to complete a feasibility study and preliminary design for
the replacement of the culvert from Kitsap Lake into Kitsap Creek at Northlake Way and Kitsap Lake
Rd. The Recreation and Conservation Office that oversees the SRFB requires a resolution to
authorize the City of Bremerton Mayor to make formal application to the SRFB. Final application is
due in August along with the approved Authorization Resolution.
The text of this resolution was provided by the Washington State Recreation and Conservation
Office; per that Office, only limited alterations to the text were allowable and made to fit the City's
format.
