SUMMARY: Call for bids was prepared, advertised, distributed and received in accordance with City
Bid Procedures for the Police Facility East Section Roof Replacement. Four(4) companies requested
, bid documents; only one (1) bid was received from Fields Roof Service, Inc. out of Kent, Washington.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Bid Tabulation Form; 2) Contract
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $60,000 included in the 2016 Facilities budget
funded from REET. Additional REET funding of$28,913.34 is needed to cover project costs.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve a contract with Fields Roof Service, Inc. in the
amount of$88,913.34 for the Police Facility— East Section Roof Replacement; and authorize the
Mayor to execute the contract in substantially the same form as presented; and to authorize the
transfer of up to $30,000 from Real Estate Excise Tax receipts to fund the project.
