SUMMARY: Four proposals were received in response to a request from the City forfurnishing
12.5% bulk sodium hypochlorite, to the Westside VWVfP. JCI Jones Inc. submitted the lowest
responsive proposal at$0.79 gallon/delivered, including tax. This award to JCI Jones Inc. will have
firm pricing for a period of one year, from the time the proposal agreement is approved. The per
gallon pricing includes all costs (product, freight 8�taxes).

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the proposal to purchase bulk 12.5% sodium hypochlorite for a period of one year
from JCI Jones Inc. at a cost of$0.79 per gallon delivered; and authorize the Wastewater Manager to
make these purchases on an as needed basis.
