Installation of finro new bridges on the 2000 Department: PWBU - Forestry

SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton, Forestry Division is under mandate to remove the existing
culverts at the 2000 RD 8� 3000 #2 RD crossings. The existing culverts do not allow for the passage
of fish, and the Forestry Division has a 2016 timeline to remove the culverts and replace them with
bridges, by direction from the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
A request for proposals (RFP)was advertised from May 4, 2016—May 20, 2016, and we received
four complete proposals for the bridge installations.
Weber Construction was the lowest responsive proposal in the amount of 45 730.00.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Forestry Bridge Installations Agreement with Weber Construction, Inc. in the
amount of$45,730.00; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
