SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Code authorizes the Risk Management Specialist, with the
approval of the City Attomey, to bind insurance coverage and requires City Council approval for the
continuation of the bound coverage. Pollutian Liability insurance coverage for 2016 through 2019
has been bound with Illinois Union Insurance Company. The premium for the three year term of
2016 through 2019 is $35,185.70, including fees and taxes. The policy provides $1,000,000
coverage subject to a $100,000 self-insured retention per loss.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Sufficient funds are available in the 2016 Risk
Management Fund for this expenditure.
