SUBJECT: Letter to Kitsap Regional Study Session Date: April 13, 2016

SUMMARY: The City intends to submit several grant applications in the coming months including
one for federal funding through the PSRC Regional process, and three through the Countywide
process. A condition in the Countywide application is for the Council to acknowledge the time,
phase, and funding obligations associated with the federal funding. An outline of the applications
being pursued, and the timeline and obligations are also attached to this Agenda Bill.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): There are no costs associated with this
acknowledgement. Financial obligations associated with the grant applications are outlined in the
attachments.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve letter from the City of Bremerton to the Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council
acknowledging obligations associated with federal funding; and authorize the Mayor to sign and
submit the letter with substantially the same text as written.
