SUMMARY: The two existing Dresser Pumps were installed in 1989 (27 yrs.), and have reached the
end of their useful life. We are proposing to purchase two Flygt dry-pit submersible pumps for Pump
Station CE-4. Please see the sole source determining attached.
The cost for the two Flygt dry-pit submersible pumps from Whitney Equipment for Pump Station CE-4
is $184,723.53, (including tax &freight).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This pump purchase is budgeted through the
Wastewater CIP, and has a budgeted amount of$400,000. The total cost for the purchase of two
new Flygt dry-pit submersible pumps is $184,723.53, (including tax &freight).

Move to approve the purchase of two new Flygt dry-pit submersible pumps from Whitney Equipment

substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
