SUMMARY: The City has managed the BKAT program under its' municipal service umbrella with
a County professional services contract to supply county production and access services to
unincorporated cable households. The professional service contract which was executed on January
11, 1999, and as subsequently amended and extended, has now expired and is in need of replacement.
The County and City have been working on a replacement Interlocal agreement which is expected to
be completed by the end of August 2005. However, in the interim, action is requested to extend the
term of the previous agreement through the end of 2005 to ensure BKA T may continue to receive
payments from the County for services provided.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount) Ensures continued receipt of funds for service
provision in accordance with the revenue expectations of the adopted 2005 budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the contract amendment extending the term ofthe
service agreement with Kitsap County for Bremerton Kitsap Access Television services and authorize
the Mayor and Director of Financial Services to execute this amendment in substantially the same
form as presented.
