SUMMARY: BMC 2.50.030 states that a salary survey shall be conducted every five (5) years or
as otherwise appropriate to ensure proper assignment to salary bands. The last study was
conducted in 2005. The proposed agreement will allow JB Reward Systems to complete the
required study which will include Management, Professional, and Teamster positions.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $50,000 for the Compensation and Classification
St�dy has been included in the 2016 budget. The fee for services in the agreement is not to exceed
$54,000; however, the cost is not anticipated to exceed $50,000. In the event it does, the Department
believes it can absorb the additional cost in their current budget.

Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement with JB Reward Systems; and authorize the
