SUMMARY: hapter 36.7 C uthorizes a city to assume the rights, powers, functions, and
obligations of a transportation benefit district established by a city. The City passed Ordinance No.
5076, amended by Ordinance No. 5245, establishing the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District.
On February 17, 2016, the City Council passed Resolution No. 3263 scheduling a hearing date of
March 16, 2016, to consider an ordinance assuming the rights, powers, functions, and obligations of
the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District by the City of Bremerton.
