Transfer of Interests and Liabilities in the Department: Legal

SUMMARY: The proposed resolution authorizes the transfer of any interests and liabilities the City
of Bremerton has in the assets of Cencom from the City to Kitsap County for the purpose of
reorganizing and re-establishing Cencom as a separate legal entity to be renamed Kitsap 911. Upon
the creation of Kitsap 911, the County will transfer its interests and liabilities in the assets, as well as
the interests and liabilities of the City of Bremerton and other entities which have invested public
funds for the operation of Cencom, to Kitsap 911.
