SUMMARY: The work to be completed includes rehabilitating approximately 8179 lineal feet of
sanitary sewer using the cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP) method, reinstating approximately 145 side
sewers, and installing 27 lineal feet of sanitary sewer using open cut construction.
There were three (3) bids received. Columbia Pumping & Construction, Inc. was the lowest
responsible, responsive bidder in the amount of$509,748.89 (which includes sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This project is included in the 2016 Budget and is
fully funded.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award the construction bid for 2016 Sewer Rehabilitation from Columbia Pumping 8�
Construction, Inc. in the amount of$509,748.89 (which includes sales tax); and authorize the Mayor
to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
