(DCD-47) DCD: Reinspection Fee: All approved plans, the printed building permit, and the permit inspection placard, are required to be on-site for inspection purposes, and work to be inspected shall be complete and ready for inspection. (DCD-50) Final Inspection Required: All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the City of Bremerton Department of Community Development prior to permit expiration. The failure to request a final inspection or failure to obtain final approval prior to expiration may require a reactivation fee, or a new permit application if more than a year has passed with no activity. 14. (DCD-32) Changes to Plans. Any changes to plans shall be approved before construction is performed. Architect or engineer of record shall approve the change before submitting a revision. A revision is subject to a revision fee and additional fees for plan review and inspections. 15. (DCD-20) Building Plan Review: i 1. Residential structures shall be provided with adequate bracing with Braced Wall Panels or have a lateral engineered analysis. Holddowns and tiedowns shall be available for inspection at the site during the foundation inspection. 2. Smoke Alarms-Shall be interconnected hard-wired with battery backup, one in each bedroom, adjacent hall, and on every floor. 3. C.F.M. Egress Windows-are required in basements in dwelling units and every sleeping room below the 4th floor. Egress rescue windows shall have a minimum net clear opening of 5.7 sq ft, a minimum of 24"clear height, and a minimum of 22" clear width. 7. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make the corrections indicated on the plans. Once the plans are marked "APPROVED", they shall not be changed or altered without authorization from the Building Official. All proposed changes to "APPROVED" building plans that effect compliance with the City of Bremerton Building and Fire Code as adopted and amended in BMC Title 17 and Title 18, or any other City of Bremerton ordinance or regulation, must be reviewed and approved by the Department of Community Development prior to construction.
