SUBJECT: Change Orders No. 4 8� 5 for Study Session Date: February 10, 2016

SUMMARY: The City executed a contract with RV Associates, Inc., to construct the Washington
Avenue Community Boulevard project. The initial contract amount was $2,852,704.84, and was
modified via change orders 1 —3 to a current contract amount of$3,037,239.41. The proposed
Change Orders 4 and 5 increase the contract amount to $3,219,150.30. A final change order is
anticipated that will be within the Mayor's authority to reconcile quantities and address an additional
$27,500 in project costs. The final project cost will be within the budget established by the City
Council at its April 1, 2015 meeting, and is presented in the attached Council Summary.
