SUMMARY: The Water Utility has requested two '/z ton utiliry trucks to perform maintenance. This
purchase will enable the department to complete the meter change out program in the next four
years and will also allow a vehicle for fire hydrant maintenance.Without the addition of these two
utility trucks the department will be relying on the use of a one ton dump truck and a five ton dump
truck which is not economical or environmentally efficient. Once these vehicles are purchased, they
will be transferred to the Fund, 510, ER&R.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): A budget adjustment of$61,000 will be needed for
this purchase from the 2016 Water Capital budget. Funds are available.
