SUMMARY: Call-for-Bids was prepared, advertised, distributed and received in accordance with
City of Bremerton bid procedures. Four bids were requested, one bid was received, read and
recorded. The bidder was Otis Elevator Company, Seattle, Washington for five (5)years from March
1, 2016 to March 1, 2021. The department requests approval of the Elevator Equipment Systems
Services and Maintenance contract.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds are budgeted for the current budget year and
would be budgeted for the remaining term of the contract. Amount not to exceed $30,000.00 for the
year.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the award of Elevator Equipment Systems Services

authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
