SUMMARY: The work covered by this Agreement is for City water and sewer pipe relocation to
accommodate a new WSDOT culvert installation. The City is providing the design drawings and
inspection services. WSDOT will incorporate the City's design into their construction contract and
will manage the construction. The City is obligated to pay for all constructions costs,WSDOT
inspection costs and related indirect costs. The specific work proposed under this agreement will be
performed during the State's construction of the SR 16—Anderson Creek Tributary to Sinclair Inlet-
Removal of the Fish Barrier.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The estimated construction costs are$182,367.48,
.with an advanced payment of$27,355.12; however, the agreement allows for a 25% increase for �
unforeseen conditions, and so total costs could be up to $227,959.35. This amount is included in the
budget and will be fully funded by the water and sewer utility.
