SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Court has an Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County
Administration Services to provide security for the courthouse at 550 Park Avenue. The new contract
number is#KC-482-15. The term of the contract is 12 months and can be extended for 12 months at
a time with written notice to do so. The compensation on the contract has increased to $63,000.00
per year with uniform and uniform cleaning estimated to be $665.00.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $63,665.00. This amount is included in our budget
for 2016.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Interlocal Agreement for Court Security Services KC-482-15 between the City of
Bremerton and Kitsap County Administrative Services and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented, and further
authorize the Mayor to execute the one year extension to the agreement as presented therein.
