SUMMARY: The City's current lease with Pitney Bowes for a Connect + 2000 series digital
automatic mail machine and an OfficeRight D1200 folder is approaching the end of its term. Based on
consistent volume of over 60,000 mail pieces per year the same model chosen as the replacement.
ATTACHMENTS: Pitney Bowes Global Financial Services State 8� Local Term Rental Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): State contract pricing for the new machine(s) is
$551/month or$33,058.80. This is a 15% reduction from current pricing for both units. Funds are
budgeted in the General Fund non-departmental.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the contract with Pitney Bowes in the amount of $33,058.80, including sales tax and

conditions as presented.
