CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES
Tuesday, October 27, 2015
The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the
Council Conference Room 603 of the DicKs GovERNMENT CErvTER located at 345 6'h Street,
Bremerton, Washington, Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 4:00 PM, with Counril President Greg
Wheeler presiding. Council members present were Eric Younger, Roy Runyon, Dino Davis,
Jerry McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Financial SeNices Director
Cathy Johnson; Assistant Financial Services Director Mike Riley; and Budget Analyst Caroline
Tompson. Legislative Assistant Lori Smith was present to provide staff suppoi�t to the Council.
President Wheeler announced that the 2016 Budget Workshop was for the C�uncil to hear
presentations on the proposed budget. It was further announced that this Budget Workshop
was open to the public, but there would be no opportunities for input or partici�ation; that no
action will be taken, and the content of these items is subject to change.
Cathv Johnson, Financial Services Director, continued with presentations on the 2016 Budget
for Parks and Recreation and Public Works and Utilities; and continued discussion regarding the
General Fund:
� Parks & Recreation - Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
• Public Works & Utilities
1) General Facilities and Engineering
2) Streets
3) Utilities
4) Transportation Capital Projects
5) Equipment Rental Reserve (ERR) Operations and Reserve
• Internal Auditor
With no further business, President Wheeler adjourned the Budget Worksho�� at 7:19 PM.
