CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES ��� � � 1���
Wednesday, October 14, 2015
A Study Session of the City Council of the. City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council
Conference Room of the NORM DicKs GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6`h Street, Bremerton,
Washington, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Greg Wheeler
presiding. Council Members present were Eric Younger, Roy Runyon, Dino Davis, Jerry
McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Lori Smith, Legislative Assistant, was present to
provide staff support.
President Wheeler emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there would be
no opportunities for input or participation; and announced that approved items by Council will be
placed on the October 21, 2015 Council Meeting Agenda; or as indicated.
A. INFORMATION BRIEFING
1. United Way of Kitsap County "2015 Campaign" — Shannon Corin, United Way Campaign
Coordinator for the City of Bremerton Information only...
B. NO PRESENTATION PLANNED — The following items are budgeted items or subjects that
have been raised with the appropriate Council Committee Members...
2. Resolution to issue a Type-C Right-of-Wa�r Permit to Our Lady Star of the Sea to allow
closure of Veneta Avenue between 5th & 6 h Streets for Construction of a Pedestrian Plaza
Postponed to December 9;And a Neighborhood Meeting will be held November 23...
3. Interlocal Agreement with the Port of Bremerton for Construction on an Accessible Parking
Space (ADA Compliant Curb Ramp) at the east end of 2"d Street General Business
4. Local Agency Agreement with WSDOT for a "Safe Routes to School" Grant to be used for
th Crownhill Elementary Sidewalks Project General Business
