SUMMARY: In October 30, 2002, the City and the Community Theatre entered into a Lease
Agreement for the Community Theatre's operation and maintenance of the Community Theatre. In
2009, the City and the Community Theatre entered into a new Lease Agreement extending the term
until December 31, 2028 to construct an addition to the existing building. The Community Theatre
has now been approved for a $325,000.00 grant to make improvements to the Community Theatre.
In order to receive this grant for the improvements, the lease is being is extended, with options, to
December 31, 2045.
