SUMMARY:
City Council is required to formally appoint Committees to write statements to be included in the
Local Vote�s Pamphlet"For' and "AgainsY' Proposition No. 1 —Public Safety Bond which will be on
the November 3, 2015 General Election Ballot. A ballot measure to issue no more than $4.5 million
of Unlimited Tax General Obligation (UTGO) Bonds maturing with 10 years to acquire two fire
engines and related equipment, one ladder truck and related equipment, assorted firefighting
equipment, and to remodel Fire Stations Nos. 2 8 3. Each committee may have up to three (3)
members. However, a committee may seek advice of any person preparing their statement(s).
