SUMMARY:
The attached ordinance will allow the public to vote at the November 3, 2015 General Election on a
proposition which authorize the City of Bremerton to acquire two fire engines and related equipment,
one ladder truck and related equipment, assorted firefighting equipment and to remodel fire stations
#2 8#3. The bond will issue no more than 4.5 million dollars of unlimited tax general obligation
bonds maturing within 10 years to pay the cost of the capital items and levy annual excess property
taxes to pay and retire the bonds.
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance No. 5281
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This ballot measure will not impact the general fund
if the proposition passes. The election costs will come out of the Non-departmental budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Motion to approve Ordinance No. 5281 providing for the submission to the qualified voters of the city
at the November 3, 2015 general election a ballot for issuance of bonds for public safety purposes in
the amount of 4.5 million dollars.
