SUMMARY: The Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County is the mechanism that allows the City to
request assistance or the use of equipment to help in the operations and maintenance of the various
assets managed by Public Works & Utilities. An ILA has been in-place with the County for many
years; however, it expired on June 11th of this year.
ATTACHMENTS: Draft Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): No impact. Payment is made from the fund
requesting the work or equipment.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Interlocal Agreement between Kitsap County and
the City of Bremerton for Reimbursable Work Performed by Kitsap County Public Works and/or for
Rent of County Equipment and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
