CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES JUL 1 ��1�
Wednesday, June 24, 2015
A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council
Conference Room of the NoRM DicKs GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6th Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Greg Wheeler
presiding. Council Members present were Eric Younger, Roy Runyon, and Jerry McDonald.
Council Members Mike Sullivan, Leslie Daugs, and Dino Davis were absent. Lori Smith,
Legislative Assistant, was present to provide staff support.
President Wheeler emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there would
be no opportunities for input or participation; and announced that approved items by Council will
be placed on the July 1, 2015 Council Meeting Agenda; or as indicated.
Wvn Birkenthal, Parks & Recreation Director, briefed the Council on a plan to address a
concern expressed by neighbors of Kitsap Lake Park. They reported that cars with boat trailers
are causing a dangerous situation when parking along Price Road so the plan is to change the
parking lot signage to make the center aisle of the parking lot for boat trailer only parking on
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which he believes will alleviate the problem.

1. Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County for Reimbursable Work PerFormed by Kitsap
County Public Works and/or Equipment Rental Consent Agenda
2. Professional Services Agreement with Murray, Smith &Associates, Inc. for 2015 Water
Resources System Improvements Consent Agenda
3. Sole Source Purchase of a 2016 Ford F550 Maintenance Truck from Cobalt Truck
Equipment of Spokane, WA for the Storm & Sewer Division of the Public Works &
Utilities Department Consent Agenda
4. Ordinance creating Section 2.19.040 of the Bremerton Municipal Code (BMC) entitled
"Warrant Officers" Consent Agenda
5. Ordinance amending Chapter 2.100 of the Bremerton Municipal Code (BMC) entitled
"Public Access Citizens Advisory Committee" Genera/Business
B. BRIEFINGS AND FULL PRESENTATIONS — There were no items scheduled for a Full
Presentation tonight...
C. GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS

With no further business, President Wheeler adjourned the Council Study Session at 6:30 PM.
