SUMMARY: The approved 2015 budget shows a replacement in Storm/Sewer division of a 2000
2100 series vactor. After considering three manufacturers staff recommends purchase of a 2015
Vac-Com evactor truck as the best overall value for the city. The total cost of this purchase is
$496,302.07 including Washington State sales tax. This purchase will utilize NJPA contract 022014-
AMI. The authorized dealer is Atlantic Machinery, Inc. of Silver Springs, MD. The authorized selling
dealer is Enviroclean of Lakewood, WA. The replaced vehicle (2000 2100 series vactor)will be
traded in on this purchase and removed from the fleet.
