SUMMARY: The two aerators in the Gold Mountain Golf Course equipment fleet have reached the
end of their useful life and are currently inoperative. Replacement parts for the 25 year old aerators
are difficutt to find with some parts not available. Pricing for the Toro ProCore 648 aerators was
compared using the following three government procurement programs: Avendra Contract,
Washington State Contract and the National IPA Contract. The National IPA Contract pricing of
$46,160.62 plus WSST from Western Equipment Distributors, Inc. of Kent, WA was the lowest quote
received.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds are identified in the approved Capital

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve purchase of two (2) Toro ProCore 648 Aerators from Western Equipment
Distributors, Inc. for$46,160.62 plus Washington State Sales Tax; and authorize the Mayor to finalize
and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
