Mike Eliason, Government Affairs Director with the KITSAP COUNTY REALTORS ASSOCIATION, praised

with the expansion of the District Center Core into East Bremerton.
Art Castle, Executive Director for the HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION, also supported the proposed
ordinance, but indicated that if the building height restriction was increased from 35-feet to 40-feet, it
would allow more diverse design options.

the building height restriction from 35-feet to 40-feet; and concern that care is taken in creating the
Centers one at a time and resolving problems before creating the next Center.

amendments when the Zoning Code Ordinance is brought back before the Council for "housekeeping
corrections" before any of the Chapters take affect; and the Planning Commission, as well as citizens,
