HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/15/2015 6D 62) AGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Goods & Services Agreement Study Session Date: April 8, 2015 for Monitoring & Maintenance of COUNCIL MEETING Date: April 15, 2015 Fire/Security Alarm Systems and Fire Department: PW&U Suppression Systems Presenter: Wayne Hamilton Phone: 473-5207 SUMMARY: The Contract for the monitoring and maintenance of Fire/Security Alarm Systems and Fire Suppression Systems for the Public Works and Utilities Department has expired. A Call-for-Bids was prepared, solicited and distributed in accordance with City Bid Procedures. One (1) bid was received from Fire One, Inc., of Bremerton,Washington. This company most recently held the contract with the City and has proven to be responsible, reliable and cooperative. The department requests approval of the Goods &Services Agreement for two years from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2017 with extension options per agreement, and in addition, requests authority for the Public Works Director to authorize these extensions. ATTACHMENTS: 1) Goods & Services Contract; 2) Exhibits A, B &C FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds are budgeted for the current budget year and would be budgeted for the remaining term of the contract. The budget is for$70,000 annually.
