SUMMARY: This is a three way mutual aid agreement between the fire departments/districts in
Clallam County, Jefferson County and Kitsap County. Currently there are no mutual aid agreements
outside of Kitsap County and this interlocal agreement will allow fire departments/districts who sign
the agreement to cross county lines. The entity will determine at the time of request, whether or not
they have the equipment and/or personnel to respond. Each party will not seek compensation or
reimbursement.

Move to approve the Master Interlocal Agreement between Clallam County, Jefferson County and
Kitsap County for Fire Services; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
