The WWCP provides a means to evaluate future wastewater collection system and treatment plant needs, identifies necessary improvements in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and identifies future service demands based on adopted growth projections. The WWCP will replace the existing 2005 plan and bring the City into compliance with all Department of Ecology regulations for a General Sewer Plan as defined in WAC 173-240-020 and WAC 173-240- 050. The plan has been reviewed and approved by the Department of Ecology. The letter is attached.
