CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES DEC 0 3 1014

The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the
Council Conference Room 603 of the DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER located at 345 6th Street,
Bremerton, Washington, Monday, November 17, 2014, at 4:00 PM, with Council President Greg
Wheeler presiding. Council members present were Eric Younger, Roy Runyon, Dino Davis, Jerry
McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Mike Sullivan. Also present were Finance Director Cathy Johnson
and Budget Analyst Caroline Tompson. Legislative Assistant Lori Smith was present to provide
staff support to the Council.
President Wheeler announced that the 2015 Budget Workshop was for the Council to hear
presentations on the proposed budget. It was further announced that this Budget Workshop was
open to the public, but there would be no opportunities for input or participation; that no action will
be taken, and the content of these items is subject to change.
Cathy Johnson, Financial Services Director, concluded presentations on the 2015 Budget
Process while Council Members asked questions and commented on the overview of each Fund &
Department Budget as well as proposed changes.
A Public Hearing will be held on Ordinance No. 5266 to adopt the City of Bremerton FY-2015
Budget at the City Council Meeting on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
With no further business, President Wheeler adjourned the Budget Workshop at 5:00 PM.
