SUMMARY: The Bremerton Municipal Court has an Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County
Administration Services to provide security for the courthouse at 550 Park Avenue. In previous
years, the court extended contract#KC-089-09 E. The new contract number is#KC-311-14. The
term of the new contract is 12 months and can be extended for 12 months at a time with written
notice to do so. The compensation on the contract has increased to $62,300.00 per year with
uniform and uniform cleaning estimated to be $665.00.
ATTACHMENTS: Interlocal Agreement for Court Security Services #KC-311-14 and Attachment A
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $62,965.00. This is an increase of$2,650.00 from
2014. This includes a step increase and a 2% cola.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Interlocal Agreement for Court Security Services KC-311-14 between the City
of Bremerton and Kitsap County Administrative Services and authorize the Mayor to finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
