CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES NOV 19 1014

A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council
Conference Room of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6'h Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Greg
Wheeler presiding. Council Members present were Eric Younger, Roy Runyon, Dino Davis,
Jerry McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Mike Sullivan; with Lori Smith, Legislative Assistant, present
to provide staff support.
President Wheeler emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public, but there would
be no opportunities for input or participation; no action was anticipated; and announced that
approved items by Council will be placed on the November 19, 2014 Council Meeting Agenda;
or as indicated.
A. NO PRESENTATION PLANNED — The following items are budgeted items or have been
reviewed by the appropriate Council Committee...
1. Interlocal Agreement with the City of Port Orchard for Water Supply(Consent Agenda)
2. Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County Administrative Services for Court Security
Services (Consent Agenda)
3. Resolution amending and re-establishing City Rates and Fees for 2015
(December 3 General Business)
4. Appointment of Patty Lent to the Kitsap Transit Board Composition Review Committee
(Consent Agenda)
B. BRIEFINGS & FULL PRESENTATIONS
5. Proposed public hearing on ordinance amending Chapter 20.52 of the Bremerton
Municipal Code (BMC) entitled "Sign Standards"(Public Hearing)
6. Proposed public hearing to adopt a resolution establishing the Comprehensive Plan
Update Work Program, Schedule, and Public Participation Plan; and to suspend
Comprehensive Plan Amendment Applications in 2016 (Public Hearing)
7. Ordinance levying Property Taxes for Collection in 2015 (General Business)

With no further business, President Wheeler adjourned the Council Study Session at 7:25 PM.
