SUMMARY: The City Attorney's Office uses West for its Westlaw legal research subscriptions. The
current contract with West expires August 31, 2014, and the City Attorney's Office wishes to renew
the contract. The monthly fee is $772.50 per month, with a 3% CPI adjustment on each anniversary
of the contract. This is the same fee as in the current contract. The total two-year cost for the
contract will be approximately $19,000.
ATTACHMENTS: West Renewal Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City Attorney's Office budget has sufficient
funds available in the 2014 budget to fund the monthly fee from September through December 2014.
The monthly fees for 2015 will be included in the City Attorney's 2015 budget.
