SUMMARY: It is anticipated that the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners will approve a ballot
measure pursuant to RCW 82.14.450 that submits to the Kitsap County voters the question of whether
a sales and use tax of 0.15 percent for a five year period should be imposed to support criminal justice
and public safety programs and services. The proposed resolution supports Kitsap County's proposed
submission to the voters of the Law and Justice Sales Tax Levy for Kitsap County.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): If approved, the City of Bremerton will receive its
per capita share conservatively estimated to be approximately $880,000 annually.
