SUMMARY: The Seattle Outboard Association (SOA) has once again applied to the City of
Bremerton for permission to host Kitsap HydroF est, a hydroplane/runabout race on Kitsap Lake, on
May 21 and 22,2005. This event is part of the 57th Annual Armed Forces Festival. The 2004 event
was deemed a success. The organizers have satisfactorily complied to all of the 2005 requirements set
forth by the Police, Fire, Risk MaBager and Parks & Recreation Departments. The Kitsap Lake
neighborhOGd will be apprised of the event via flyers. According to all departments, there were no
significant incidents associated with their 2004 event.
