SUMMARY: The City requires project coordination assistance for the Downtown PedestrianlBTC
Access Improvement Project. Retaining the services ofW. Eugene Sampley dba Sampley Consulting
will provide the expertise necessary to maintain project continuity, scope and schedule. A Local
Agency Standard Consultant Agreement for federally funded p!,qj,ects has been negotiated with
Sampley Consulting for the Downtown Pedestrian/BTC Access Inlprovement Project for a total
authorized amount not to exceed $120,000.

FISCAL IMP ACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): These services are reimbursable from federal
funds provided in the capital project budget. No local match is required for this contract.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Local Agency Standard Consultant Agreement
with Sampley Consulting for the Downtown PedestrianlBTC Access Improvement Project in the
amount not to exceed $120,000 and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the necessary contract
documents for the agreement.
